United Soccer Coaches’ Developing A Top High School Program Special Topics Diploma
This United Soccer Coaches’ diploma offers a comprehensive consideration of some of the on and off field opportunities to teach in High School Soccer. Field sessions will include demonstrations on the value of small-sided games, different teaching methodologies and periodizing work-to-rest ratios. Classroom sessions will offer presentations on, and a forum to discuss, analyzing and evaluating performance, managing culture and periodization.
United Soccer Coaches’ Striker Play Special Topics Diploma
This United Soccer Coaches’ diploma will offer practical and theoretical ideas to maximize the efficiency of the goal scorer. Field sessions will be based exclusively on goal scoring and the techniques, tactics and mentality of the striker. Classroom sessions will use video to evaluate the skills of the strike and offer discussion on training methods and approaches.
Soccer Champions' Developing Mental Toughness Diploma
This Soccer Champions’ diploma will be led by Dr. Tiffany Jones and will include four sessions (1 field and 3 classroom sessions) designed to develop “mental toughness” in players and coaches. *ATTENTION CONNECTICUT HIGH SCHOOL COACHES: This course also provides Connecticut High School Soccer Coaches with .3 Continuing Education Units as credit for Module 9: Sport Psychology for Interscholastic Coaches through the Connecticut Coaching Education Program. Participating CT High School Coaches will have their name provided to the CCEP for input into their system which will then generate CEU credit. The course fee covers your Module 9 CEU expense (no additional cost beyond diploma cost).
U.S. Futsal Diploma: Attacking Principles – Futsal to Soccer
Led by U.S. Futsal National Instructor/CJSA Futsal Technical Director Everson Maciel, this three session course (see event schedule for session times) on coaching futsal attacking principles will provide you with a better understanding of the game, how to develop attacking teams, and explores attacking tactics using different formations. This course includes one classroom session and two on-field demonstration sessions. Futsal is growing in popularity and many coaches are using futsal to improve their players skills which translates directly to the soccer field. All course participants will receive a U.S. Futsal Federation diploma upon completion of the course.
United Soccer Coaches’ Goalkeeper Training Special Topics Diploma
Led by Internationally-Renowned Goalkeeper Coach Dan Gaspar and United Soccer Coaches’ Director of Coaching Education Ian Barker, the Goalkeeper Training Special Topics Diplomas features three session offerings – Finishing Play for Strikers & Goalkeepers; The Art of the Goalkeeper Dance; and Executing 1v1 Breakaway Saves Successfully.
